The “b”logo on beats solo 4 looks like a beat sounds headphone, unlike the solo 3, this new generation of wireless headphones support native software features like “one tap for pairing and find my device” on both android and IOS. As the name suggest, the “b” logo represents the beat audio for modern audio lovers that can enjoy a mind-blowing sound.
For the first time I bought this wireless headphone, I realized that Beats Solo 4 is what you would expect from a modern pair of wireless headphones. It supports easy Bluetooth connectivity to Android, iPhone and Windows pc.
The design aesthetic of Beats solo 4 headphones has four hidden buttons, where else the main ‘b’ button is on the left-hand side and controls main functions, such as play/pause and skip track, depending on the number of times it is pressed. The volume key controls are located around the “b” button.
There is also a 3.5mm analog input and included cables so that work as well just like traditional pair of wired headphones. The beats company also stated that you can enjoy 50 hours of playback. Out of curiosity, during my test, the indicated hours seem to be true.
It doesn’t matter what’s on your head, the beats solo 4 is narrow and sleeker with light weight and wear well. And they use the same “Ultra Plush” memory foam pads as the Studio Pro, which are a key part of the comfort.
Additionally, The Beats App is quite responsive, easy to use with integrated options like managing privacy controls, such as location permission, notifications and analytics, and battery optimization settings.
From the above, that’s not to say Beats Solo 4 can subdue the other giants in the market. The flagship headphones that cost less than $200 at the time of writing this review with active noise cancellations is something hard to overlook at. A lot of people will feel that’s worth it, but I’m not sure it’s quite enough. The omission of Noise cancellation in Beats Solo 4 could be a major drawback for some users.
The design of this headphones is similar to previous headphones, the fabric carrying case is good enough to seal the baguette inside though it contradicts the color complexity.
