Google Photos is widely used by Android and a few iOS smartphone users. It is part of Google Workspace and offers 15 GB of free storage per Gmail account. Android users can easily enable automatic photo backups, but downloading all photos at once can be more challenging.
You might be planning to download all your Google photos to your local drive or either to transfer to other cloud storage. In this guide, we will show you how to do the trick without much efforts. Well if you are in that case, below is a step by step guide.
To download your Google Photos, start by visiting takeout.google.com on your smartphone or computer. Log in with the Google account linked to your Google Photos library, then navigate to the list of services and select Google Photos to proceed then “Next”
After clicking “Create Report,” the download process will begin. The time it takes to complete can vary ranging from seconds to minutes, hours, or even days depending on the amount of data stored in your Google Photos. The download link you receive will remain valid for one week. If you need to download the data again after the link expires, you can submit a new request.
