Spotify Lossless Audio

One of Spotify’s most exciting new updates is the long-awaited arrival of lossless audio. This feature puts Spotify in the same league as Apple Music and Tidal, offering high-quality streaming that brings out richer detail in every song. With lossless audio, Premium users can enjoy music in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC, delivering a more immersive listening experience.

The feature is available on iOS, Android, desktop, and tablets, as well as on Spotify Connect devices like Sony, Bose, Samsung, and Sennheiser. Keep in mind that lossless audio uses more data and storage, so it’s best to enable it when you’re on Wi-Fi or have a strong connection.

Spotify Taste Profile Tracks

Spotify has added a new feature that makes your listening experience even more personal by improving your Taste Profile. This profile helps Spotify understand your music preferences and shape recommendations, playlists, and features like Blend and Wrapped. Previously, you could exclude entire playlists from influencing your Taste Profile and now, you can also remove individual songs, giving you more control over what shapes your music recommendations.

Spotify-ChatGPT integration

Spotify has teamed up with ChatGPT to make discovering music even easier. You can now ask the AI chatbot to create playlists or recommend podcasts, artists, and songs based on your prompts. The feature works for both Free and Premium users on the ChatGPT desktop and mobile apps. Free users can explore playlists already available on Spotify, like Discover Weekly and New Music Friday, while Premium users can build brand-new playlists from scratch using ChatGPT. 

Spotify Messaging

Spotify has rolled out a new feature that makes it easier to connect and share music with friends and family. With the new Messages feature, you can chat directly within the Spotify app, sending songs, podcasts, audiobooks, and more just like you would on any messaging app. The feature is available for Free and Premium users aged 16 and above on mobile in select regions. Alongside tools like Blend, Jam, and collaborative playlists, Messages makes sharing your favorite Spotify content simpler and more fun.

Spotify Smart Filters

Spotify’s new Smart Filters feature makes it easier to organize and enjoy your music library. You can now sort your songs by mood, genre, or activity whether you’re getting ready for a workout or winding down with something relaxing. After applying a Smart Filter, Spotify will show artists, playlists, and albums that match your selection. It works a lot like the filters in your Liked Songs playlist and helps you quickly find the right vibe, especially if you have lots of playlists.

Spotify Snooze

Spotify is testing a new Snooze feature alongside updates to its Queue and button designs. Currently rolling out to Premium users, Snooze lets you temporarily remove a song from your recommendations or playlists without deleting it. It’s perfect for tracks you’ve heard too often but still want to keep. Once you hit Snooze, Spotify will stop recommending that song for 30 days, giving you a break from overplayed tunes while keeping your library intact.

Spotify has introduced a new feature that lets you add custom transitions between songs in your playlists. It’s designed to create smoother, more seamless shifts from one track to the next, giving your playlists a more polished and professional feel.
