Instagram is landing on another screen, and this time Apple TV users can dive straight into the Reels rabbit hole. A dedicated Instagram app just launched on Apple TV, bringing Reels, longer videos, and live streams to your television. If watching a “quick clip” on your phone usually turns into an hour-long scroll, you now have a much bigger display to do it on.

The new app lets you browse videos from your favorite creators, discover new content, and pick up right where you left off across devices. Instagram is positioning the update as a way to watch together with friends and family, instead of everyone staring down at their own phones. The app officially went live on the Apple App Store on October 23.
How to Set Up and Watch Instagram on Apple TV
To get started, search for Instagram in the Apple TV App Store and install it. Just keep in mind that the app requires tvOS 16.0 or later, so you may need to update your software first before diving into your Reels marathon.
